The Cavern Competition
The long-deserted cave systems that lie underneath modern-day Russia are running with blood in The Cavern, the brutally terrifying new horror that is available to buy on DVD from 18th June 2007, courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
Starring a talented cast of newcomers and featuring some genuinely terrifying moments and superb, claustrophobic cinematography that makes The Blair Witch Project look tame, The Cavern promises to deliver a real treat to horror fans everywhere.
In the Kyzl Kum Desert in Central Asia a team of explorers learn of a newly discovered cave system and set out on an expedition to be the first to explore it. However as soon as the team begins the descent, it quickly becomes obvious that this was a secret that should have remained below the surface as members of the team find themselves caught in a desperate and terrifying fight for their lives.
