Ordinary Boys band member Preston stomped off the telly show "Never
Mind The Buzzocks" - after the programme's presenter Simon Amstell
poked fun at his partner Chantelle.
The musician lost his temper when Simon read out snippets from her publication "Living The Dream."
An individual in the show's audience is quoted in the Sun as
saying:“Simon sarcastically read out where she talks of wearing Marks
& Spencer clothes for a photoshoot saying, ‘I’ve always loved
M&S, but it was always too expensive. The photoshoot made me feel
very posh and upmarket’.
“Preston just stood up, ripped off his mike and flounced out.”
The 24 year old singer, who first set eyes on his wife on the last
series of Celebrity Big Brother - is the first person to leave the BBC2
TV quiz in a decade.
Bill Bailey who is a regular on the panel joked: “Don’t worry, it’s not
Big Brother — he’s not been voted off.” The 42 year old comedian then
took a Preston body double from the audience to fill his seat for the
rest of filming.
Another source is quoted in the newspaper as saying:“When Preston walked everyone booed. He couldn’t take the joke.”
A spokesperson for the show also added: “It’s a shame Preston felt he
had to leave. Simon loves to banter with guests — and it’s always in
good spirit.”
