Title:
Lucy by Jealousy
Four years ago the UK was taken by storm by a phenomenal tune called “Starlight” by the Supermen Lovers.
At number 1 for four weeks and with sales of 3 million copies
worldwide, this massive track introduced the supreme vocalist, Mani
Hoffman (who also co-wrote the Starlight track) to a wider music
audience.
Jealousy and their first single ‘Lucy’ is in fact a fusion of two
highly successful French bands ‘Live Saver’ signed to Prozak Trax (the
#1 French dance label) and featuring writer/producer Pierre Hinard
(co-writer and co-producer of ‘Lucy’ and the massive single ‘Obsession’
by Aventura) and ‘Work to Beauty’ which featured Mani Hoffman on their
successful Epic France released single entitled ‘Thing’
Pierre and Mani had very similar styles and tastes in music and
decided after the success of ‘Starlight’ and ‘Obsession’ to work
together on a brand new project which became the band, Jealousy.
The band are currently touring Europe in support of ‘Lucy’ – A
potential #1 with its powerful bass line and fantastic string
arrangement, also features up and coming singer-songwriter Sophie
Delila who has worked with MC Solaar and Jamiroquai.
Jealousy are planning dates in London and radio is starting to rotate
‘Lucy’ as the club version is maxing out in clubs all over Europe.
In addition to the house classic version there are stunning remixes
available in an acoustic pop/rock version, ‘Funky House’ mix by Desire
and a re-work from legendary production team ‘K-Klass’ responsible for
Historic remixes for Whitney Houston, Blondie, Frankie Knuckles,
Bizarre Inc. and Bobby Brown amongst others as well as their own Top
Five hit single "Rhythm Is a Mystery”.
“Lucy” by Jealousy is released on Monday 4th September 2006 on Purple City.
