Title:
Waiting
The wait is finally over – following its high profile nationwide cinema release earlier this year, Momentum Pictures is now proudly serving up a delicious dollop of sex, booze and gross out humour on DVD with the 4 September 2006 rental and 25th September 2006 retail release of Waiting.
Bold, brash, lewd and crude, Waiting gives the likes of Bill & Ted and Clerks a run for their money. Whilst some comedies never quite cross the line, Waiting steps right over it with its day-in-the-life, behind-the-scenes look at frustrated waiters and stingy tippers. With more than sixty minutes of extras available via the DVD’s extensive menu, this is one helluva full fat treat, with extra cheese on top.
Featuring some of the scariest food antics ever captured on film, Waiting’s young and tantalizing ensemble cast is headed up by comedy gross-out king Ryan Reynolds (Just Friends, Van Wilder) as cynical waiter Monty, with Anna Faris (Just Friends, Scary Movie) as Monty’s sparring partner and Justin Long (Dodgeball) as frustrated and bored Dean. As young employees at ShenaniganZ, a generic chain themed restaurant, they battle the grinding boredom and monotony of their working day by initiating a series of bizarre and down-right disgusting games and pranks.
So, if you’ve ever sent food back, snapped your fingers at a waiter or complained about service, Waiting will make you re-think every meal you’ve ever been served whilst making you reach for the phone and a takeaway menu.
