Title:
Gone
Alex and Sophie (Shaun Evans and Amelia Warner) are fulfilling their dream of backpacking through Australia when they become involved with a charismatic American called Taylor (Scott Mechlowicz). Accepting his offer of friendship and his car, the three set off into the outback, but the further they go the more suspect and sinister Taylor’s motives for imposing his friendship becomes.
Making his directorial debut, Ringan Ledwidge leads an exciting cast of up and coming British and American screen talent in this edgy, psychological thriller, including Shaun Evans (Teachers, Being Julia), Amelia Warner (Quills, Stoned) and Scott Mechlowicz (Mean Creek, Peaceful Warrior). Ledwidge is one of the UK’s leading directors of commercials and music videos and has previously delivered high impact campaigns for world famous brands including Adidas and Lynx. GONE is his first feature.
GONE is produced by Nira Park and Deborah Balderstone and executive produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Natascha Wharton and Jon Finn. The film was shot entirely on location in Australia.
